［2話］エリックとエミリーの出会い - [Episode 2] Eric and Emily meet.

ある日、エリックは、メスのパンダ『エミリー』と出会いました。

エリックは、エミリーのことが好きになりました。

One day, Eric met a female panda named Emily.

Eric fell in love with Emily.

エリックはドキドキしながらエミリーにに自分の気持ちを打ち明けました。
Eric was thrilled and confided his feelings to Emily.

しかし、エミリーは、マナーが良いパンダが好きなので、エリックのマナーが悪いことがとても嫌いでした。
However, Emily liked well mannered pandas, and she very much disliked Eric's bad manners.

エリックは、エミリーと仲良くなりたいため、一生懸命マナーを学びました。
時には、雑巾がけや掃除、トイレの使い方などを学びました。

Eric worked hard to learn manners because he wanted to get on with Emily.
At times, he learnt how to dust, sweep and use the toilet.

一ヶ月ほど経過したある日、エリックはエミリーとデートに行く約束をしました。
エリックは、マナーが良くなったことをアピールして、エミリーに喜んでもらうことができました。
One day, about a month later, Eric arranged to go on a date with Emily.
Eric was able to show off his improved manners and make Emily happy.

ある山にマナーの悪いオスのパンダ『エリック』が住んでいました。
A male panda with bad manners, 'Eric', lived on a mountain.

エリックは、人前でおならをしたり、手で隠さずにくしゃみをしたり、電車で大声で話したり、トイレを流さないなどして、周りの動物たちからも嫌がられることを平気でしていました。

Eric had no qualms about doing things that were also frowned upon by the animals around him, such as farting in public, sneezing without covering it with his hands, talking loudly on trains and not flushing toilets.
